This weekend, we ordered Ranalli's for takeout because we were craving pizza but this is a Wisconsin bar and it was during the Wisconsin game. They have a lot of very unique flavors. The hot honey is delicious, but the dill pickle pizza really stuck out. I think more people should put pickles on pizza. Overall, it was delicious and I hope to come back and dine in soon.

Stopped by on a Saturday night and was immediately seated! Amazing! Extensive menu that ranges from pizza, to pasta, to American fare as well. I LOVED that they were already decorated for Christmas. What I enjoyed most is that this place felt authentic to ~itself~ and not trying to be pretentious. I appreciated the casual atmosphere. I ordered capellini with clam sauce. Though they informed me that they were out of clams in the shell, they compensated with lots of chopped clams. That was great. However, the white sauce was overpowered with oregano. I needed a lot of parm cheese to balance it out. Overall, the portion was large and I might try an allavodka sauce next time. We also had calamari which was PERFECT. The fry batter was light and smooth in texture but fluffy and so crispy. I would definitely order this again. I look forward to stopping by again and trying the pizza.

Ranalli's is a fantastic casual spot for pizza, beer, and classic bar food. I have to admit, I wasn't expecting much on my first visit, but I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious everything was, especially the pizza. The hot honey and ricotta combo has become a favorite. During football season and in the summertime on the weekends, the place can get pretty rowdy, which adds to the fun atmosphere but isn't ideal for families. I love taking my children there otherwise, especially to enjoy the outdoor area when it's nice--it's definitely the highlight of the restaurant. The inside feels a bit cramped and loud with low ceilings, so I prefer the outdoors and don't find myself coming here as much in the winter. Service isn't anything fancy, but that's almost to be expected. Overall, great food and a lovely patio make Ranalli's a great spot, especially when the weather's nice!

While Chicago may be known for their deep dish pizzas, the tavern style pizza shouldn't be missed. Ranalli's has some awesome pizza options and is a fun spot to hangout. They have a super cool patio, that's pretty large and lined with umbrellas. And although it was absolutely my vibe, we had just spent a lot of time in the sun, so we opted to sit inside in the AC. We ordered cocktails, a caesar salad with grilled chicken (which was absolutely delicious), and the super popular hot honey soppressata pizza. We were torn because so many of the pizzas sounded good, but it seemed like most reviews mentioned this one, so we had to give it a try. All around everything was pretty solid. We didn't love our cocktails, but they were still good enough. Pizza was good and easily devoured by us. Service was super friendly, you could tell that the bar was slammed with drink orders, but the bartender made a point to acknowledge us and let us know our drinks were coming up, same with our server and our food. Writing this review is already making me want to come back here and eat a pizza on the patio next time!

Came here for lunch with a group of friends after hitting up the Lincoln Park farmer's market on a Saturday afternoon. We ordered 4 pizzas, 2 gluten free and 2 non-gluten free. The pizzas came out quick and were all amazing, and it was really nice to see that the gluten free pizzas came baked in their own individual metal pan to avoid cross contamination! My friend, who is gluten free, really appreciated seeing that extra measure of precaution had been taken!

Dinner with friends at Ranalli's and loved my dining experience! Fair prices and portions, as well as a variety to order from the menu - burgers, salads, appetizers, and of course their iconic pizzas. Ordered the largest size and had leftovers, even sharing with two other people. Highly recommend the Hot Honey Sopresseta pizza because it has the savory from the sopresseta but a light sweetness from the hot honey and the cheese. The service was timely, professional, and very kind. This is a casual spot - tv's inside to watch sports, seating outside, and easily a favorite for Chicago recreational sports league players after their games.

Great patio, food, and drinks! We popped in a beautiful summer Sunday and got the famous hot honey pizza, which was delicious. We started with some burrata as well, which was a nice appetizer with some fresh veggies and toast. I also had a ceasar salad, which was tasty as well with hefty croutons. Fun atmosphere and great service too.

First TAW (Thursday After Work) outing was at Ranalli's in Lincoln Park. The first thing I think of when it comes to this place is their hot honey pizza, but I think you'll be surprised by the reviews.... They do have a gluten free option. I didn't partake, so these reviews are the glutenous crusts. "I've had some amazing pizza, in Italy and shit, so I'm biased. I like there's honey on it, but there's not enough on it. I want the Queen bee to drizzle on it. Not the best ricotta I've had in the city." - 5/10 "It's good, but yeah nothing incredibly special. It's like someone got Jack's frozen pizza and just put honey and ricotta on it" - 5/10 But we did have one semi redeeming review: "Softie when it comes to spice and it's rly spicy. The ricotta cools it off well. Love pepperoni. A little too spicy. Could use more honey"- 8.5/10 The cheese-curds tasted more like breadsticks. The strawberry basil smash cocktail was light refreshing. Not too basily, just the right balance. The cucumber collin was refreshing. Something I would put on my face for nourishment. Airy, doesn't taste like you'll gain a thousand pounds while drinking. A lot of ice, could chug super easily if needed.
